"Nourish the roots for the tree to grow"

II truly believe that to thrive in our conscious lives, we need to nourish our roots—our subconscious mind. Sometimes, this means revisiting old patterns formed early on and gently reshaping them with the wisdom and experience we’ve gained.

Through hypnotherapy, I’m here to help you nurture those roots, explore positive change, and move confidently toward a bright and colourful future.

Recognize. Understand. Change.

About me

I'm a relaxed, calm and slightly quirky person who respects people as they are, no matter where they are in their life path.  I like to see people as their whole not just a specific problem, as I believe that everything is interlinked.

I’ve always been drawn to alternative approaches that support health and well-being, understanding the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit.

My own journey into hypnotherapy began when I sought support for habit change and pain management. What started as a personal exploration quickly grew into a professional fascination. I was struck by the profound impact hypnotherapy could have—not just for pain, but for stress, anxiety, and so many other aspects of emotional and physical health. I was hooked—it all made so much sense!!

I began to see how hypnotherapy could complement my work as an Advanced Practitioner in Radiotherapy, as well as enrich my personal life.

Now, I’m excited to use hypnosis as a powerful tool to help others on their own journeys to wellness and positive change.

My aspirations....

Individuality

As a neurodiverse person myself, I deeply respect everyone’s individuality and understand that a ‘one size fits all’ approach simply doesn’t work. Every journey is unique, and I tailor my support to suit you.

Responsibility

Hypnotherapy is a partnership. I’m here to support you every step of the way as you work towards positive changes that enhance your life.

Compassion

I strive to create a welcoming environment where you feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed.

My experience in patient care—often during challenging times—has given me a unique skill set to provide compassionate and supportive guidance throughout your journey.

Learning

I never stop, I never wish to stop learning.  I can promise that I will never be stagnant in my approach to life and your individual journey.

Interests

II have a special interest in supporting pain management, weight management, stress and anxiety relief, navigating the unique challenges of neurodiversity, and addressing the complexities of perimenopause.

Empowerment

I believe in supporting you to rediscover your inner strength and take confident steps forward.

Through hypnotherapy, my aim is to help you feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and choices—so you can shape a life that truly reflects who you are.

My Career

My commitment to lifelong learning has been a consistent theme throughout my career. I have pursued Master’s level study across various areas, including patient review, complex symptom management, and Non-Medical Prescribing. Although my academic journey was non-linear—balancing professional and personal demands—I successfully completed my Master’s in Advanced Practice in 2022. This milestone was followed by the publication of a peer-reviewed article and formal recognition through Health Education England's Advanced Practitioner accreditation.

In addition to clinical practice, I am passionate about education and workforce development. I regularly teach at both local and national levels, delivering training across a range of topics and academic levels. Sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others within the profession is a key part of my role and one that I find deeply rewarding.

Working with cancer patients has always been at the heart of my career. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals not only through the technical and physical aspects of treatment but also with empathy and emotional understanding—ensuring holistic, person-centred care at every stage of their journey.

With nearly 25 years of experience in radiotherapy, I began my career after qualifying as a Therapeutic Radiographer in 1999. I spent the early years gaining international experience, working and travelling in Australia from 2001 to 2002, before returning to the NHS, where I continued to develop professionally while raising a family.

In 2012, I chose to specialise in Urological cancers, focusing on the care of patients with prostate and bladder cancers. This role involved not only the delivery of treatment but also the development and refinement of clinical techniques, ensuring evidence-based, up-to-date practice and a seamless patient pathway.
